Meet the DDA Board: Jayson Rumball
As part of our effort to introduce the passionate individuals behind Downtown Ortonville’s revitalization efforts, we’re excited to spotlight Jayson Rumball, one of our passionate directors who brings forward thinking and collaboration to our community work.
- What’s been the most impactful project you’ve been part of during your time with the DDA?
Jayson's most impactful project he's been apart of is the Home Town Heroes banner program. He loves to help organize the program and see how fruitful the results are every year. Jayson takes deep pride in supporting our military heroes and the program.
- What do you think makes this community unique compared to others in the region?
Jayson believes that Downtown Ortonville brings a "small-town close- knit family feel." He continues on to explain "We truly are there for each other on many levels for many aspects of our daily lives."
- What would success look like for you as a board member over the next few years?
Jayson see's success within the coming years as continuing to "improve the DDA on every metric and to maintain our yearly accreditation." Jayson wants to ensure growth in new initiatives, projects and current programs sustaining the high quality care that we have for them.
- How do you measure whether a downtown is truly thriving?
Jayson measures a thriving down town by people's participation of events and their investment into their community.
