Meet the DDA Board: Paul Amori
Each month, we spotlight one of our Downtown Development Authority board members who helps guide the future of our community. This month, we’re excited to introduce Paul Amori.
How long have you been involved with the DDA?
Paul has deep roots in the village, having worked at Hamilton’s for 26 years. He has been on the DDA board twice. He said, "First was from 2010 to 2016, and I served as president for two of those years. I then returned to the DDA in October of 2018 and have been involved ever since.”
What do you love about the community?
Over the years, he’s come to appreciate the small-town character that makes Ortonville special. For him, it’s the people — the friendliness, the familiar faces, and the sense of community that shines through when “most everyone knows each other.” That warmth is what keeps him committed to giving back.
What do you hope to accomplish as a DDA board member?
As a board member, Paul is passionate about helping downtown thrive as a place where the community can shop, gather, and have fun. He envisions a future where Ortonville continues to grow as a vibrant destination, supported by ongoing investments in beautification, parks, and retail businesses. By working together and securing resources, Paul hopes to see downtown become an even stronger hub of activity for residents and visitors alike.
Paul’s dedication reflects the very spirit of Main Street — neighbors working together to shape the future of their community. We’re grateful for his leadership, experience, and passion for Ortonville.
