Meet the Board: Leanne Claxton

We’re proud to spotlight Leanne Claxton, President-Elect of the Downtown Ortonville DDA Board! Leanne has been a dedicated leader in the Ortonville community for years, and her passion for helping others shines through in everything she does. Get to know more about her journey with the DDA, what she loves about Ortonville, and her hopes for the future of our downtown.

Leanne began volunteering with the DDA in 2019 and officially joined the Board of Directors in July 2021. This year marks her fourth year on the board—and now she’s stepping into the role of President-Elect, ready to help lead the way forward.

Leanne’s favorite thing about Ortonville is the incredible generosity of its people. “The people of Ortonville are always ready to help their neighbors in whatever way possible,” she says. “It’s the most giving community I know of.”

Leanne is committed to being a creative and driving force behind the continued growth of Downtown Ortonville. She’s focused on finding innovative solutions that support our unique community, strengthen our small businesses, and bring people together to celebrate what makes Ortonville so special.
