Join us on the grounds of the Old Mill Museum to celebrate the grand opening of our "Road to Independence" special exhibit!


See Revolutionary War soldiers fire cannons and muskets!   Witness the ceremonies to honor Revolutionary War veterans who lived in Brandon and Groveland and are buried in Oakland County, including Norman Phelps, Elias Cady, and Solomon Jones.   Tour the Road to Independence exhibits inside the Old Mill!

Sign a larger-than-life Declaration of Independence!

We're assembling Revolutionary war uniforms, weapons, flags, and historical stories at the Mill Museum - a limited-time special exhibit on display this summer - only at the Old Mill Museum!

The Road to Independence Exhibit and museum campus will be open May 16th from 10:00am - 2:00pm; the Opening Ceremony will start at 11:00am.    The Road to Independence special exhibit will be on display through SeptemberFest weekend.
